André started as a cooks apprentice, in May 1999 and graduated, after completing his apprenticeship as a classically trained chef within French and Danish cuisine in September 2002, which subsequently brought him around in various positions ranging from line cook to head chef and everything in between. In 2003 André completed his professional education, with additional training as a skilled waiter and graduated with praise and first price for his broad knowledge of wine. The above, subsequently brought him to Ilulissat, Greenland in late March 2009 - where he held the position of Restaurant Manager at Hotel Arctic, the same year Hotel Arctic received the Nordic Council of Minister's honorary diploma awarded each year to a restaurant in the Nordic countries, based on the Criteria: "Branding and visibility of Nordic values, by linking the Region's strengths in areas such as, regional values, gastronomy, professional development, commodities and tourism". Andre's has specialized in wine and the Nordic cuisine and the wonderful products, from around the Nordic region. André currently lives in Denmark.
