Angles on horseback

This was the course after dessert back in the 50s followed by the cheese board. (Traditional British formal meal).

Angels on horseback can also be a hot canapé - Oysters wrapped with bacon with a toothpick and grilled under a salamander. This term can also apply to Scallops as well.
